What is a hotel transfer?
A hotel transfer is pre-booked chauffeur-driven transportation between the airport and a hotel, or between hotels. The difference is not so much that the address is a hotel rather than a home, but that the meet-and-greet and drop-off arrangements are planned according to the hotel’s operations.
How does it work at the hotel entrance?
The chauffeur pulls the vehicle up to the hotel entrance canopy or the waiting point designated by the hotel. Luggage is taken from the vehicle and carried to the reception. For boutique hotels on narrow streets, the vehicle stops at the nearest suitable point; this is stated in advance in the booking confirmation.
Return transfer from the hotel to the airport
Your departure time is determined by your flight time. For domestic flights, you should be at the airport 2 hours before departure; for international flights, 3 hours before. Travel time and extra allowance for peak hours are added to this. For departures between 07:00-10:00 in the morning and 17:00-20:00 in the evening, allow an additional 25-40 minutes.
Travel times to city-center hotels
From Istanbul Airport to hotels around Taksim and Şişli, the journey takes 45-60 minutes in normal traffic, and a similar time to Sultanahmet. From SAW to hotels on the European side, it takes 60-80 minutes, and to hotels on the Asian side, 35-50 minutes.
Group and corporate hotel transfers
For congresses, weddings, or corporate events where multiple guests are arriving at the same hotel, grouping is arranged according to flight times. Guests arriving around the same time are collected in one vehicle, while separate vehicles are planned for those arriving at different times. Minibuses are used for up to 25 people, and buses for up to 45 people.
Information required for booking
The hotel’s full name and address, flight number, number of passengers and suitcases, and arrival time. Since there may be businesses with similar hotel names, providing the full address eliminates the risk of going to the wrong location.

For airport arrivals, our professional greeting team will meet you at the TÜRSAB-designated meeting point and assist with your luggage. For hotel departures, the vehicle pulls up to the hotel entrance and you are picked up from reception.

Minibuses are used for up to 25 people, and buses for up to 45 people. If the flight times are close, yes, you will be grouped in one vehicle. If the times are spread out, separate vehicles are planned.
