During the summer season, most passengers traveling from Istanbul to coastal regions fly by plane, and VIP transfer completes the final part of the journey. In this article, we explain the planning points specific to the summer season.

Which regions are covered?

Among the most frequently requested summer holiday routes are Bodrum, Antalya, Çeşme/İzmir, and Dalaman (the Fethiye/Marmaris region). Airport congestion during the summer season

Between June and September, especially on weekends, many flights may land at coastal airports within the same time window. This has two practical consequences:

• Baggage claim may take longer. Since flight tracking is monitored, this waiting time does not lead to an additional charge; the greeting is planned according to your actual exit time, not the scheduled landing time.

The importance of early booking

During the busiest weeks of the summer season, especially on July-August weekends, vehicle availability may be limited. In this period, booking a few days in advance is recommended, particularly for crowded family or group transfers.

Things to note upon arrival at the resort or hotel

Resorts in coastal regions may be far from the city center and spread across a peninsula or coastline (the Bodrum peninsula is a typical example). Therefore:

• It is important to specify the hotel/resort name and region exactly — there may be more than one property with the same name.
• Transfers to remote points on a peninsula or coastline may take longer than transfers to areas closer to the airport.

Group and family transfers

In summer holiday transfers, the amount of luggage is often greater than in standard airport transfers — beach equipment, strollers, extra bags, and more. For groups of more than four people or when there is a lot of luggage, the Mercedes Sprinter class is recommended.
